I have a bunch of half-baked intros that I'd love an excuse to finish writing! They are:
- A Wizard of Oz-inspired steampunk odyssey with a human Dorothy and automaton Tin Man.
- A nosy and interfering bachelor with a secretive past moves into a new neighborhood and annoys the girl-next-door by inserting himself into all her family and social drama.
- A Westworld Host without an interesting backstory or programmed romance option—who exists basically to dress the scenery and serve other storylines—is befriended by a lonely park patron.
- College kids on a spring break trip are carjacked by a cunning hitcher and his burnout girlfriend, but the apocalypse hits as soon as they reach the nearest gas station. One female college student tries to throw a continuous wrench in the hitcher's plans, but the two enemies find they are sympatico when it comes to ensuring the survival of the group… although his survival isn't especially high on her list of priorities.
- An immortal from the Paleolithic meets a modern-day time traveler. They share an extensive history, although the time traveler is getting to know him for the first time in her chronology. The fact that he's now her history professor complicates matters.
- Give me any reason to write Captain Nemo. Or maybe some sort of complex intersection of Victorian literary characters.
Let me know if any of these sound interesting, and sorry in advance if I'm slow. 🐌
excuse me i thought i was your time traveller :'(
I knew I had talked to someone about this already! All right, I'll get crackin'.
