So I've been busy trying to get this cross stitch done for a coworker's retirement. And now I'm finished with it!
I'm in awe. I never EVER finish cross-stitches unless it's like 2 colours and that is just crazy. how many hours approx. did it take?
I'm trying to get into embroidery because it's a bit more freehand. But even still!
Oh, man. I have no idea how many hours it took. I know I'd try to work on it for an hour or two after work for about the last four or five weeks. And, I'd done the part with the lion /months/ before that.
There were a few days where I spent hours on it. I'd take it to parties. xD
I really should start documenting how long it takes me to do these by hours.
I'm all about that knitting life. Here's a pair of socks I made for myself awhile back.
@mira do you take dreamcatcher commissions?
@astro OMG I'd love to make you one! I won't be reunited with all my craft stuff until October, unfortunately. Christmas present?
Also, love those socks. We should all start some sort of by-mail craft trade.
Yeeeessss. all the crafts.
oh gosh i don’t have the patience for cross stitch!!
i used to crochet and i wasn’t great but i found it easy to pick up... i kind of want to start doing it again.
i did make some jewellery out of polymer clay recently?? i have plans for a set but I haven’t had time to do it with the move. but ya my first attempts came out well!
and I’ve been trying to teach myself to brush letter which has been... interesting...
I love the colors in those, sara!
did I hear someone say brush lettering
THAT LOOKS SO GOOD, @bigwig! I need to get back into practicing calligraphy. I'm inspired now!
Aw! Sara, that's so cute!
I kinda have an itch to stitch some more on some WIPs, but also I want to play more Breath of the Wild. I really wish I had four arms at the moment.
oh wow, y'all are so talented
